Remote Access

The ‘remote access to information resources’ service provides members of the University of Ljubljana libraries with the possibility to access subscription information resources such as e-books, specialized databases, electronic scientific journals (e.g. services like IEEE Xplore, SpringerLink) etc. from any location (outside the University of Ljubljana computer network) regardless of the library hours.

The service can be used by active members of our library (FE staff and students).

Active membership is verified with a library card (membership) number and password. The password is the same as the password which you use for accessing ‘My Library’ e.g. reservations, overview and renewal of the borrowed materials in the COBISS system. If you don’t have a password yet, or you forgot it / it doesn’t work, please come to the library.

When you follow the link from the list of information resources, a login page will pop up. Here you select your home institution (see the drop-down list) and enter your membership or enrolment number and the password.

Please not that you must respect the provision of licensing agreements that the libraries have made with the information resource providers. Only personal use or use for academic purposes is allowed.
