Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical Engineering combines fundamental knowledge in electrical engineering with knowledge in biochemistry, biology, mechanics and medicine. Students become familiar with controls in biological systems, medicine informatics, measurement of biological parameters and phenomena, and requirements for biomedical technology systems and their planning, as well as the processing of one-dimensional and multidimensional biomedical signals. The study offers the student a unique perspective on the animate and inanimate worlds. The breadth and quality of the knowledge acquired ensure success in the search for employment in various industrial sectors and research laboratories, as well as in the hospital environment and in companies’ sales engineering departments.
